The irony in this shot by Martin Parr is amazing. I want to incorporate something like within my current project..It has all the elements of this hyperreality and escapism from the real world…tourists are interesting.

I am in love with this photo. It works like a 4 way conversation. You have the man “talking” to the painting, who is looking straight at the camera, but pointing to the painting of the woman who is looking back at the painting of the man on the left. What’s more is that the entire thing becomes a work of art. Fantastic hyperreality here.

This is shot by Melanie Einzig. A man slumped over on methadone, two lovers hugging and a man with a parrot on his shoulder, all in one scene. Yet this scene is completely unconstructed.

This is the quote I got given for my new brief. I’m going to focus on hyperreality and look into constructing scenes that blend fiction and reality together.
